Workshop comments:

Most helpful activity/strategy:
- The Oh Deer shoutout and yarn+extension activity
-  All of the activities were engaging
- Using the cycle format to include any life cycle
- The variety of ways to teach complex curriculum
- Food Web/Chain activities and brain storming
- The hands on ideas for the food chain
- The differentiation for activities.
- I enjoyed the good web activity.
- I loved the food web ideas!!
- I loved the die carbon game
- Food chain activity ideas
- The lessons on Energy.
- Carbon cycle game
- Carbon Cycle
- Game;Book

A way that I would modify an activity/strategy for my grade level:
- Using the carbon cycle activity cards, I would set them up in 8 different places in the classroom and instruct the students to move around to the different spots.
- I liked the cube for the carbon locations in the carbon cycle game. Helpful for struggling readers to be able to access the game that way.
- I read the book Pass the energy please! in small sections and talk about the vocabulary and rhyming words along with science
- Carbon pathway - use stations and picture die as suggested by leader and participant
- I would still engage my students with vocabulary and the hands-on activities
- I would add some extensions and/or digital integration to the yarn activity
- I can differentiate this cycle format according to grade level and content
- They would not need to be modified as I teach 5th grade
- Using picture cubes as die and then do the graph
- I think they are perfect for my 4th graders.
- Show more books applicable to energy, etc.
- I think it is good as is
- Use in my Art class
- Lots of movement
